OUR HERITAGE

Clearpath was originally founded by Eugene B. Walsh, Controller at Ralphs Grocery Company, with the approval of the grandsons of Ralphs founder, to serve the employees of the company with the additional benefit of financial services.   The Credit Union was chartered June 7, 1954 as Ralphs Employees Federal Credit Union.   On December 19, 1990, the name was changed to Ralphs Federal Credit Union because we also serve members who had left the company.  The Credit Union then began adding other Select Employer Groups to expand its field of membership.  After adding several SEGs (Select Employer Groups) and beginning its branching network, it changed its name to Clearpath Federal Credit Union to reflect the diversity of its members.

In August 2013, the Lithuanian Credit Union, a nearby credit union, merged with Clearpath.  Clearpath has been continuously expanding and serving the financial needs of its members with personal attention, a wide array of products and services, automated services, cutting edge  technology tools, and commitment.  Lifetime membership lets us grow with our members and their families.  Our Vision of “Your Dreams. Our Mission.” defines our focus on our members’ financial well-being.
